July '09 Hiking Colorado 14,000 + more

Linda, Lee, and Doug journeyed to Colorado to visit Ed and Kay.  We stayed at their Dillion Townhome located above Dillion lake, formerly the city. The first day, Linda had altitude sickness, so missed the hike up Sherman Mountain, a 14,000. The second day we hiked the Dillion falls and the third day we attempted another 14,000.  After taking the wrong path by accident but gaining elevation and mileage, when we actually made it to the trail- head we only got up to tree line or 12,000 feet before heading back.  We'll save that hike for next year.
